A Kids ‘Tail’ of Seaforth - Art and Nature Competition


Conditions of Entry


MAKE YOUR OWN PICTURE: It can be a painting, sketch or photograph of any living thing from Manly, past or present, with a story. Your picture should be on cardboard or stiff paper of an A3 size in the landscape (29.5cm x 42cm). (An A3 is two A4 sheets). Put your name, class and school on this sheet in the right hand corner.


ENTRIES CLOSE on Monday 30th October 2006. Deliver to Manly Environment Centre, 41 Belgrave Street, Manly.


EXHIBITION OF ENTRIES ON THE DAY: All entries (arranged in school and other groups) will be exhibited outside the Seaforth Library on Sunday
12th November as part of the Seaforth Centenary celebration. All entries become the property of Manly Council.


PRIZES will be awarded on the day for the best student entries and the school with the most student entries. Prizes to be announced.

All participating Schools will receive an “Inspiration Pack” of enough colourful information about the many living things in Manly to get you started.


A Kid’s Tail of Seaforth’s Nature” resource folders with in depth information will be available at the Manly Environment Centre (MEC),
41 Belgrave Street, Manly.
