2007The second Eco Award went to Angelika Treichler , chief guardian of Manly’s penguin colony. For years, Angelika has worked far into the night protecting nesting penguins from dogs, drunks and snap-happy tourists. She refuses to drive a car and is committed to reducing her personal impact on the environment. Happy feet leave no footprint!!! |
