The interactive display attracted hundreds of curious visitors to get information about local projects and events. They learned about possibilities to get involved and how to value and protect Manly’s fragile environment. Children and high school students gathered around artist Cheralyn Darcey at the big crafting table and got creative. At the end of the three days an entire wall was covered with imaginative beasties made from recycled material.

Everybody’s favourite Little Penguin Tula posed on dozens of photos and drew attention to her smaller relatives at Manly Wharf and Federation Point. Video installations illustrated biodiversity around the world in beautiful recordings, pictures and poems. A giant jigsaw and Manly Village School’s Penguin News kept youngsters entertained while parents could enjoy illustrated walks and learn about Manly’s environment.
